$75,000 2k4 Online Season – Starting June 15th!
GBT.com V. 2 is fresh off the cutting room floor and we’re kickin’ things off with a $75,000 bang, starting June 15th, 2004.
The 2k4 Online Season will consist of 11 game events from 8 game titles, each having a preseason (you’re in it now!), regular season ladder, and playoff.
The 11 game events are divided into 3 groups, each with their own schedule. You’ll notice that each group has a slightly different schedule than the other, which will allow you to participate in multiple game events while minimizing overlap in schedule at the end of the season and in the playoffs.
The winners of each game event will take home the GBT crown and some pretty hefty cash… but with a cash prize for spots 1-10, even if you come up a little short you’ll still end up with a nice prize.
The preseason ends on June 10th and the regular season will begin five days later on June 15th, so make sure you get familiar with all the new features and practice up for official play. If you need to find a team, don’t forget to use the GBT forums and get on our IRC channels to meet other players. (See FAQ for more info)

Getting Started
All you’ve got to do to get started is:
1. Sign up for a GBT membership if you haven’t already.
2. Look at the game event groupings and decide which games you’d like to compete in.
3. Buy and install the games and make sure to download all the game updates according to your game event’s rules.
4. Go to the Play page and join any of the GREEN game ladders marked for the 2004 Online Season.
5. Start practicing.
6. Play and follow GBT rules.
