Fallout 3 mod tools and DLC detailed |
|
Today the good folks over at Bethesda Softworks made an exciting announcement. Next month, both Xbox 360 and PC versions of Fallout 3 will be getting some DLC. Come December, Bethesda will release “the G.E.C.K.” Essentially “the G.E.C.K.,” or Garden of Eden Creation Kit, is a collection of mod tools that will allow users to create/modify any data used in Fallout 3. This means that gamers can create new location, towns, characters, weapons and dialog. Unfortunately the G.E.C.K. will only be available for PC gamers. Todd Howard, game director for Fallout 3, stated: “We’ve always seen the original world of Fallout 3 as a foundation for even more content. Some created by us, and a lot more created by users. It’s fun to create your own character, but it can be equally fun to create your own adventures. We can’t wait to see what the community does with the G.E.C.K.” This might seem like enough DLC for some companies, but not for Bethesda. starting in January, it will be releasing three downloadable content packs that will not only contain new quests and items, but new locations and characters. I must warn you, the descriptions of the new content contain some spoilers, which is why they are located after the jump.Operation: Anchorage The Pitt Broken Steel |

Ok I also play WoW, but it's crazy to get in line instead of waiting a few more hours and just grap it from your postbox. Whats wrong with those people its like not a console launch where it will be sold out the next day :-) |

that lvl 70 in one night is just a prime example of devotion. We could use people like that. |

some of the fans said that they could have LEvel 70 within a week... and that's the lowest figure that we got... and we talked to a bunch of people... so for #8 to say he did it in one night makes me question his boldness. |

If WoW players put in that much effort to get laid... well, they still wouldn't get laid but at least they would have tried!! |
